Future of Web Apps London 09 is just under two months away, so here is a little taster of what to expect this year! From amazing speakers, university sessions, competitions and the FOWA Fair to the fab party and a big surprise for all attendees, do we have a show for you!

We have a surprise show for all attendees this year brought to you by two of our most highly regarded and popular speakers! Can you guess who? ;) Open to FOWA attendees only, It will take place on stage at 6.30pm – 7.30pm on 2nd October.
*FOWA party/Digg meetup
We are joining forces with Digg to bring you the FOWA party/Digg meetup! You guys know how much we love our event parties so we have gone all out this year and hired The Orchid – http://www.orchidlondon.com/ in Piccadilly. The Digg crew will be there with plenty of schwag! Plus we have an exciting partner to announce who will be making this a party to remember. Find out who very soon. :)
The party will be taking place on 1st October (Day 1 of the conference) from 8pm so you have plenty of time to hang out, grab something to eat and make your way to the party for an amazing night!
*Come along to the FOWA Fair
We have brought the fun of the fair to FOWA this year. Our partners are all planning ways to make your FOWA experience as rich, valuable and fun as they can. FOWA Fair will be positioned on the top of three floors in the Small Hall and in the break out areas, each featuring fun things for you to check out. For example Sun Start Up Essentials are proving a cool lounge for you to chill out and watch the sessions from the comfort of a bean bag :)
*Free University sessions at FOWA
FOWA University sessions are returning again and we already have some cool presentations lined up. Microsoft, Yahoo, Sun Start Up Essentials, Xcalibre and many more will be on hand during the breaks to provide you with rich array of bonus sessions….We’ll be releasing an agenda for these session to you in the build up to the event so you can pick which ones you just can’t miss!

In celebration of our upcoming Future of Web Apps event we thought it might be fun to run a competition for all you budding “webpreneurs”. In order to win a chance to have our very own Ryan Carson all to yourself for an hour all you need to do is register for FOWA London 09 between 3rd and 17th August. The winner will get the opportunity to ask Ryan anything they want whether its advice on their start-up, ideas for their web app or some help with marketing.
